Middle Years Program The ideals of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) focus on every student becoming an independent, creative, critical thinker, and lifelong learner. Students will also learn to relate acquired knowledge to the outside world on local, national and international levels, and to everyday life. The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is designed for students aged 11 to 16.
The IB-MYP offers one of the highest quality education available on an international level. It is excellent preparation for the rigorous IB Diploma Programme offered in the eleventh and twelfth grade. CIS will open grade 12 in August 2009.
